Terms

  • By placing an order for one of these items, you are declaring that you are 18 years of age or over. These items must be used responsibly and appropriately.
  • We must receive payment in full before we can dispatch your order (for orders for more than 100 hampers this can be discussed with EZHampers directly).
  • We work hard to ensure that your any allergies or dietary requirements are taken into account when creating your hamper, however we are not liable for any consequences that may occur as a result of consumption or use of products in our hampers.

Orders:

EZHampers reserves the right to refuse to accept an order and also reserves the right to immediately suspend the fulfilment of an order if the customer is in breach of any of these terms and conditions.

Payment:

Payment can be made by credit/debit card, BACS or CHAPS. Orders will only be fulfilled upon receipt of cleared funds.

Variation:

EZHampers reserves the right to alter any of these terms and conditions but undertakes that before so doing it will serve a reasonable notice upon the customer. The customer may not vary the terms and conditions and any attempt to vary these terms and conditions will not be effective unless it is in writing and signed on behalf of EZHampers.

Third parties:

A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions will acquire no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce or take the benefit of any of these terms and conditions.

 Jurisdiction:

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Supplemental merchandise terms and conditions

  • Cancellation notice:

    We are unable to accept cancellations or returns on hampers, chocolates or wine gifts owing to the perishable nature of the product. This does not affect your statutory rights in the event of faulty goods, and we will be happy to provide you with a full refund or exchange in this event.

  • Prices:

    All prices include VAT and duty (where applicable).

  • Supply:

    All hamper contents and mixed wine cases are fully listed and every effort is made to supply the items shown. However, in the event of supply difficulties, we reserve the right to make substitutions with items of equal or greater value. All sizes are approximate. All items subject to availability. This does not affect your statutory rights. You must be over 18 years of age to order from John Lewis for Business.

Delivery by Royal Mail

Incorrect or insufficient delivery details can result in your gift being delivered late or not at all. While we will always do our best to deliver all hampers, no refunds will be made for late or failed deliveries when the delivery details supplied are inadequate.

We work to ensure that your order is dispatched on the day of its placement but you must allow for 2-3 working days for dispatch, especially if the order was placed after 12pm.

Although age-restricted items can’t be delivered to a locker or a nominated safe place location, they can be delivered to a Royal Mail Local Collect Post Office / Enquiry Office / Delivery Office, for age verification at collection.

Royal Mail will ask to see a valid photo identification if the recipient appears to be under 25, in line with their UK “Challenge 25” policy upon delivery.

Royal Mail will leave a ‘something for you’ card following any unsuccessful delivery attempt of an age-restricted parcel and will bring it to the nearest post office for collection with an age verification check. Alternatively, you can use the information on the ‘something for you’ card to contact Royal Mail to arrange a redelivery.
