International Thank You Day

Merci! Danke! Gracias! Thank You Day is celebrated globally each year on the 11th of January, to show gratitude to the many people in our lives. So many of us forget to show how thankful we are for the little things that others do for us. As a result, International Thank You Day was founded as a reminder of the importance of a simple ‘thank you’. Showing gratitude for others has also been linked to a multitude of relationship and health benefits in psychological research. 

Did you know?: The word ‘thank’ originates from the Latin word ‘tongēre’ meaning ‘to think’.
