If you’ve been into our shop before you might know that we display art from local artists on the walls. We have 3 in at a time and swap our artists on a monthly basis. You can enjoy a pint or a glass of your favourite drink while you ponder which piece would look best in your home.

This month we are showcasing three fantastic new artists, all with completely different styles so you’ll almost certainly find something you’ll feel inspired by.

Tom Lees-Heston

Tom has been fascinated with portraiture since he was 14 but found his passion for charcoal portraits in 2022. He encourages viewers of his art to embrace the ambiguity of the pieces, they aim to break free of the rigidity of typical photo-realism.

Jane Fraser

Based in Altrincham, Jane is a painter who works with various media art styles including oils, acrylics, pastel and mixed media. Her work is very much inspired by the North West, many of Jane’s works being inspired by the urban landscape. Jane is very inspired by her surroundings whether urban or rural, from the cityscape of Manchester City Centre to the wilds of the Peaks and the Lakes.

Anne Earnshaw

Anne is a visual artist specialising in photography, currently she is displaying pieces of work capturing unique ephemeral moments of water. Her work encourages the viewer to seek out hidden images within the environment. Anne is also a painter so her work often reflects her passion for impressionism.
