Lisa’s (The Founder) favourite Christmas movies:

Home Alone (1990)  “I like the idea that the child is able to outwit two adults. It’s a fun packed adventure. I have watched this film so many times, as my son was obsessed with it, so I have very fond memories of it while spending time with him.“

Miracle on 34th Street (1947) ”Love this film! Richard Attenborough is an amazing actor, from an extremely talented family and he is a brilliant Father Christmas. I like this film so much because it is about having faith in something, that sometimes you have to believe in something that is not necessarily able to be physically confirmed. It has such a warm feel to it and I used to watch it a lot with my daughter.”

Erin’s (The Office Manager) favourite Christmas movies:

The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992) – “This is probably my all time favourite Christmas film. It was so fun to watch as a child and as an adult it does not disappoint. The songs are so catchy. It’s a family favourite and that explains the literary classic so well.”

It’s a Wonderful Life (1946)- “This film has become a more recent favourite of mine, I watched it a lot with my family as a child and it always made me quite sad. But as an adult I have a different appreciation for it. It’s a heartwarming tale of how one person can impact so many people’s lives in ways they may not have even realised.”

Gabby’s (The stock and sales assistant) favourite Christmas movies: 

Love Actually (2003) “Love Actually makes you laugh, makes you cry and makes you feel excited for the Christmas period. Erin actually recommended this movie to me a few years ago and since then, it’s been one of my favourites. Not only is the star-studded cast amazing, but the soundtrack is also top tier.” 

The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) “As someone who loves spooky horror movies, The Nightmare Before Christmas is the perfect blend of creepy and Christmas-y. The songs are extremely catchy, and you’ll find yourself singing them throughout December. It’s also an animated movie, which is great for watching with children like my niece and nephew.”
