0We’re thrilled to be celebrating a very significant milestone today, our 100th blog post for EZ Hampers! From humble beginnings, we started writing our little blog on the 22nd of August 2022. Celebrating our 100th blog post fills us with so much excitement for the future and where EZ Hampers will be in 1, 5 or even 10 years time! We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who reads and supports the blog, and we hope to grow our small community over the next year. To commemorate this special occasion, we wanted to let our blogger, Gabby, share a bit about herself and her journey writing for EZ Hampers.
A little bit about myself
“After graduating from a BSc in Psychology in 2022, I joined the EZ Hampers team as a Sales and Stock Assistant, doing spreadsheets and stock-taking. Since then, I’ve worked my way up to the role of Marketing & Creative Design Coordinator. I spend most of my days at the shop chatting to customers, networking with other businesses and charities, taking photographs of our hampers, and, of course, writing the blog! In my spare time, I’m a mum to three pet rats, a crested gecko and a labradoodle! I’m also a big nerd, so I love playing dungeons & dragons and watching horror movies.”
My favourite blog post: Supplier Spotlights
“The blog posts I had the most fun writing were the Supplier Spotlights, where we interviewed a few of our favourite brands that we stock in our gift hampers. It was lovely to chat to brands like Bettyhula, Grace Chocolates and ThinK Wine, to find out more about what makes each company special. The Christmas blog posts are also always a blast to write, as they get me into the festive spirit each year!”
My favourite EZ Hampers product: Mishka Chocolate Truffles
“Anyone who knows me knows that I’m completely obsessed with chocolate, and my favourites are Mishka Truffles! We get freshly made truffles regularly delivered to the shop, and it’s always a struggle to not buy myself a bag (or two!) of the white chocolate Biscoff truffles. There’s so many flavours, and I haven’t met one I haven’t loved yet!”
My favourite gift hamper: Gabby’s Blind Date with a Book
“I may be a little biased, but my favourite gift hamper we’ve ever created is definitely my version of our Blind Date with a Book hamper. It includes so many of my favourite products that we sell, like Popcorn Shed’s Chocolate Orange popcorn (vegan friendly!) and the heavenly scented Goats of the Gorge coffee & goats milk scented candle. If you want to make it a 100% Gabby approved hamper, opt for the horror genre when picking your blind date with a book hamper!”
